fellow v-dubbers (AIRHEADS), where is a good place to get manifold and exhaust gaskets, also jug gaskets without driving a billion miles or the internet and a six dollar shipping charge

There is nothing close to me.  I do most of my shopping at Gary's, Clyde at Athens German Aircooled and online usually Wolfsburg West.  There is Herrell's in Carrollton or take a chance on IAS in Forest park.  There is also Myco in Scottsdale, I have never been there but I have heard good things.  I use to do a bunch of shopping at CIP1 but I have noticed their prices are not as good as they were compared to others previously.

Nope not many places left. Most of the time it's cheaper and easier to buy online.
