whats needed to run a 1600 dp in a 72 bay?

Post by bayboy87 on Mon Jun 17, 2013 11:26 pm

my bay originaly came with a 1700 pancake , late 71, sold motor and all tins due to bad main and dont know enough about type 4s  . What would it take to run a 1600 upright in it? just curious , im tired of not have an aircooled running around the house  and hoping its a fairly simple fi with out any permanent damage  like cutting the main shaft on trans. any suggestions? thanks chris
