Said "goodbye" to the '75 this past weekend

Post by DubDawg2579 on Mon May 13, 2013 3:08 pm

Took the '75 down to Gary's on Saturday. Snapped a pic before leaving Rome and then at BugEye before leaving:

Bitter-sweet...had big plans for her.

Brian, At least part of her will live on. I traded with Gary for the rear wheels and tires and plan to go down Wed. to pick up a few more parts for my V-rod. I sure would like to have the seats and door cards for the "new" 75 sedan. I don't know what I can work out as I am low on funds for the rest of the month. I am sure I can come up with some trade items. Regards, SlimJim P.S MrsSlim did not think a lot about bringing another Bug home. tehe

Glad they found a good home, Slim. The panels in the 75 are in great shape. Keep me posted on the volksrod progress. Low on funds....HA
