Thanks, yeah I could have cleaned the smudges and fingerprints off first tho... Embarassed

Got the beam primed this morning and will shoot it with paint later today:

Picked up the lug bolts from Chadd. Mocked the wheel onto the drum and will need to trim a little bit of the lug bolts to clear the brake assembly. Figured that was gonna need to be done anyway...

I've got some lug bolts that are just a tad too long too- they were hitting the brake components the first time I took the car for a spin after changing them out

Cleaned up the frame head and painted. Removed the old crusty MC. Decided to just recoat the fire wall rather than to fight the original undercoating. Wink

Finally got around to downloading the pics off my Iphone of the extraction from the chicken house.

Here is the first view when I walked in:

The 65 that had been rolled over was parked in front of the 63.

Out in the light of day for the first time in 25 years...

Towbar hooked up and ready to go to it's new home.

Got a little more done. Beam is in, brakes, spindles are on. Need to get one tierod end to finish, had to rob one to replace a bad one on the bus. Got the tires mounted and installed the dual circuit M/C.

Picked up the stale air muffler today in preparation to get started on the motor. (Thanks again Attack Chicken!)

Once the rear suspension components come ,I will get started on the rear brakes and get the new shocks and drop plates on. I need to get the rear backing plates powder coated since I had the front ones done. The muffler is in such nice shape I will probably take it over as well and get it ceramic coated. Since I am kinda at a standstill for the moment, I finished painting the walls in my little work shop and started hanging my signage back up. I know its not really work progress on the car, but a clean work area can give you some extra motivation some times! Wink Actually there is more room than it looks like in the pics. ( And there is a VW in the shots.........)

Worked on Tina this weekend. Replaced the body trim, started replacing some of the rubber seals and pulled the motor. Me and James worked on the motor, cleaned the carb and points to see if it would fire up. Got it on the engine stand and it fired right up and ran amazingly well after sitting for 27 years. Pete and Michael stopped by in time to see it run. Took some video of the start up, but I need to figure out how to get it from my phone to post it here. All in all a pretty good weekend!
