rubber cam plug leaking ?

Does your rubber cam plug leak or pop out I have got the fix if your case is not cut for steel cam plug on late model cases let me know if your interested pics coming soon

does your rubber cam plug look like this or leaking well seal it up like this

make a plate .050 thick and drill it out like pic. use 8-32 screws drill and tap case around cam plug hole like this, be very careful metal here is thin and no room for error don't drill to deep 1/4 inch deep is good

when your done clean area well install new rubber cam plug don't get crazy with the sealent here I use dirko for this application then put some on plate and install

. Tighten screws but don't overtighten then use a lite amount of seatent on cover plate and screws and ur done no more leak or blown rubber cam plug. Another one of vws piss poor choices to not machine cam plug groove. If you can avoid it don't buy a case like this with rubber cam plug steel rules
