Hi all just thought I'd join up. I don't really have too many folks to hang out with in VW arena. Hope you won't mind. Here's my car.....


1966 Type 1, 1600cc Dual Port, Sundown Orange( the new beetle color)
I painted it, stripped it and did most of the rust repair. Compared to what I saw this past weekend at the Bug Jam I think I did a pretty good job. If I may say so. She ain't perfect but I'm satisfied with it! I need to finish the interior (Seats, Door Panels).Oh Yeah...Build a KILLER motor.

Thanks guys! I'm going to try and get to the Sonic in Dec. 2nd Sat right(Dec. 13th). I do know Eric we ran into each other on the Samba and in the elevator at the hotel before going to the Bug Jam. Can't wait to meet you guys and see your German sleds!
