you could look into Cumberland Caverns or the Lost Sea
they're both pretty popular and not too far
both caves offer daytime walk through tours as well as overnight stays where you camp out in the cave and they take you on a guided "wild" tour where you can get down and dirty, do some real spelunking. both of these caves have electricity so you can go get dirty then come back to the lights and get cleaned up before bed

but if you really want fun look up Racoon Mtn its still pretty raw, one of the best caves in the area to visit

and i'd be totally down for a group trip, group rates are usually cheaper too

also keep in mind its always 65 degrees underground so you can go anytime of year

There is a cave in Trenton Ga that's not guided. It's an easy(beginner) cave that I took at the time my 7 year old daughter through. It's call Howard's cave. I have a map of the cave if you're interested.

I do a fair amount of caving. I'm taking a boy scout group this weekend and next weekend to a place near LaFayette. I'f you've never done it before I'd suggest one of the sites Callahan posted.

Sure. There's great camping close by. Lets wait 'til after hunting season though. The cave is on WMA land and camping in the area is awfully crowded during the season.
