If you have delt with Rancho in the past about what did it cost to have your trans rebuilt?

Shipping out to them $$$
The Rebuild $$$
Shipping back to you $$$

Do they warranty anything?
Thanks

I know Greg (65type2dailydriver) sent his bus trans out there. Not sure how often he gets on here though, so you may want to send him a pm so he gets an e-mail notification.

when i got mine i didn't realize rancho sold direct-
I bought it through bus depot.

1x $379.95 113 300 043DX Transaxle
Total core charge: $180.00
Shipping & Handling: $32.50

You send your core directly back to rancho and then busdepot sends you the core charge back

Since then i have had some questions abt my trans since i had to swap nosecones for it to go in my '60 and rancho has been very helpful- really good customer service

May go that Stockornaut route, I wonder if they are tested at all? I've never changed out axles is it complicated or any special tools needed? $300 sounds good but low, I wonder what parts are used, got to make money somewhere. I'm not spending $744 on a trans!

no special tools need - just some ground down needle nose pliers or some heavy duty snap ring pliers.
not too hard a job - just those snap rings are a pia
