Post by Joe on Thu Dec 17, 2009 11:38 am

After living here for about 30 years, we have had alot of critters comae up close.
But this is the first time a fox decided to sleep on my back porch.
Here's some pics after I ran off.

Cool. We have some that come to visit here at work. Usually after dark, but a couple of weeks ago there was one wandering around during the day.

Did you fix the Dodge?

We usually see one over at the shop but this is a first.

Yep the ole Dodge has been on the road for a good while. Found out how to fix a trans in a Dodge. (Park it for a year and they will fix their self.)

Your guard dog on the step is not doing his job! I spot them often around my house crossing the street, but never had one that close. Lots of deer and turkeys in the yard, but no foxes.

we have those bad arond were i live but coyotes are just as bad around here to i hate to kill any thing but they are dangerous to have around cause there are a lot of kids on my street who are crazy enough to try to play with them. an if they are rabid you can more than likly get closer to them but thats like tring to play with a rattle snake.

Yup, we had one come up at our house in Monroe. He was not scared, walked right in the garage and did not seem to mind people. Called animal control and they cam and got him. He tested positive for rabies. The control officer said that animals like this will do very uncharacteristic things like this when infected.

Shoot him first and then test em. They're alot easier to control this way.

Rabies was the first thing I thought of. Wanted to get some pics then get the gun. I got one out of two. Laughing
