Installing a bus tranny in a Baja bug

We have a bus tranny and want to install it in my sons Baja bug.

1. Has any one ever done this or knows how to do it?
2. He has 31" tires. Will this help with power?
3. Does anybody have any parts to do the exchange that they would like to sell?

Thanks for the link.

I did some more home work today and found out that I need the kit that you linked to me, a piece of shifting linkage from EMPI also, a bus axel for the ends that are on it and I will have to cut the body of the Baja a bit so that the tranny will fit. Sounds like a weekend job.
