What distributor?
I have a 1500 SP out of a 69 Beetle. I want to replace the 009 with an original single vacuum type. What model number do I need? Also if anybody has a good working used one, I will be interested. Thanks.

Re: What distributor?
A 113 905 205T will work great. I have one that I ran in my DP and it has fantastic response! I'm building a budget 1500 SP and I'll use one for it also.

What motor/vehicle did that one come on originally?

That was quick. You da man. That one should work perfectly since it is a 69 motor in a 70 Beetle. Anybody got one?

If you are still looking for a 113 905 205T distributor I have one. The shaft has a little play, but the vacuum can is good.

Ohh, thats a scary one. I have a 009 petronix thats the chinese made and, well... Watch out for "german Quality"Thats a repo of the bosch and heard some mixed reviews on them. Same with carbs, have an empi "german Quality" That only have 700 miles on it and already outta wack.Just bought one (dizzy)for the bus from bus depot, they have OG bosch svda 205's. Yeah $50-$60 more but a way better dizzy. Just remember you get what you pay for and looking at the one in the bug and the one I got thats og, well, pretty sure in a few years will be changing the bug. Have had 2 go bad within a year from the "german quality" series. Get an og or reman bosch and your good to go for another 200k.
