What happened to it ths time? Let me talk it over with the old lady , might be interested in it.

To anyone else looking at it, the engine looks like it needs the carbs re-built, new vaccum and fuel lines. Has factory dual solexs. Was running strong just looked like half the vaccums were not hooked up, or so brittle they were sucking air.I think a good tune up and some bodywork and it would be a nice bus.

This is a funny story in itself. So I show my wife this offer and she says, is it still available? To which I reply, nope, this guy Me In VW, has his eye on it. She squints and looks at the screen and says "It's Mein VW as in Mein Kampf, My Struggle as in My VW..............it's German.............for my..................you know, Hitler Mein Kampf. Oh forget it." Oh.....................I thought it was Me In VW like, look at Me In my VW. Lear something new everyday.

Sorry man the wife wins that one. Although quite a few people do think its me in vw. And yup, its sitting outside of the garage as we speak. As soon as the wetness lightens up will pull the engine and go thru it and hopefully have it on the road next week.
Wish I could find some info on it, it was a tourist delivery bus, love to know that story!
Now have a split/bay/gon and euro in the stables. If VW had not released the routan would have one of each body style!! Now time to downsize and get rid of 2 of my cars, hmm....the camper stays, what goes? Anybody want a package deal on 2 panels????
